ERICK RUDOLPH LEADS FLAG-TO-FLAG TO WIN AGAIN AT WEEDSPORT SPEEDWAY

(Super DIRTcar Series PR) WEEDSPORT, NY – May 27, 2019 – Despite leading all 100 laps of the Heroes Remembered 100, fans were left amazed at the incredible race they had just witnessed. Rudolph fought back challenges from some of the best Super DIRTcar Series drivers to ever get behind the wheel of a Big Block Modified. Billy Decker, Stewart Friesen, and Max McLaughlin took turns trying to ground the high-flying Ransomville racer, but all efforts fell short. With a final lunge, Decker crossed the finish line under the checkered flag alongside the No. 25r, but was unable to complete the pass before the stripe.

RUDOLPH KICKS OFF 2019 SEASON WITH $2,000 PAYDAY

RANSOMVILLE, N.Y. (May 25, 2019) – It took four weeks longer than expected, but Ransomville Speedway finally got its 62nd season of racing underway on Friday night with Dunkin Donuts, 87Buf and Triple T Auto Parts presenting the Memorial Day weekend/Opening Night program. The start to the season had been delayed by three weeks after steady rains throughout much of May had left the property waterlogged and unable to dry out.

Reigning Krown Undercoating 358 Modified champion, Erick Rudolph of Ransomville, began his title defense by scoring a win in the extra-distance 40-lap, $2,000-to-win feature. In similar fashion, 2018 Investors Service Sportsman champ Brett Senek of Ransomville won the opening night feature. Cory Sawyer of Niagara Falls captured the Ki-Po Chevrolet Street Stock feature. Mike Kramarz of Niagara Falls won the Gippster’s Collision Mini Stock feature. Veteran driver Butch Zimmerman of Lockport won the Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman feature.
